Hold That Thought

Asbestos is a sleeping dog

Hold That Thought

This week I've been thinking about keeping it simple. Here are three things on that theme to turn mental energy into meaningful action:

  1. Keeping it simple is often about knowing what kind of problem you're solving; a great list from Clearer Thinking: asbestos is a sleeping dog
  2. An older one from me, but perhaps worth revisiting as we continue through this season: different ways of doing less
  3. “Less mental clutter means more mental resources available for deep thinking.”Cal Newport, professor of computer science and author of Deep Work: here's an excerpt

Extra thoughts…

Today is my first day back from a mini UK roadtrip. It was a much needed little break and I've returned a bit clearer on things. There will be time in the weeks and months ahead to share more.

Enough for now,
Kim
