This week I've been thinking about the expectations we set — for ourselves and others. Here are three things on that theme to turn overthinking into expert thinking:
It took me a surprisingly long time to finish and publish the uncharitable read article. I think it was a combination of wanting it to be bigger than it really needed and struggling with the thorniness of the topic. Regardless, the responses many of you shared from my earlier newsletter about this really helped! For accountability, a directional steer, and helping me set realistic expectations, so thank you. And extra thanks for those of you that allowed me to quote you in it.
Lastly, a question: What would it mean to be "done" for the year?
