Hold That Thought

Tilting at time-wasters (and other monsters)

Hold That Thought…

This week I've been thinking about time-wasters and other imaginary monsters. Here are three things on that theme to turn overthinking into expert thinking:

  1. If your personal rogues gallery consists of energy vampires and other tedious adversaries, remember this: nobody can waste your time
  2. If you don't respect your own time, nobody else will
  3. And one for the real adversaries: a plan for political, spiritual, and social resistance in 2025

For this week's underthinking link, sometimes you just need to step away and go for a little drive: slowroads

Extra thoughts…

It's a very busy time for me lately — the Transition out of UX program is in full swing, the Neurodiversity and Coaching book project is developing in the background, I'm working on my next coaching credential*, Terry the rescue pug is having his usual smattering of issues, and we're buying a house!

All that said, I still have capacity to work 1-2-1 with people — my absolute favorite thing to do. I'm super grateful to know coaches, mentors, and other people on my “personal board of directors” to make that possible by helping me manage the stress, optimize my time, and more.

But I'm especially grateful to you, Reader, for being there on this journey with me. As I prepare this, you're the constant in my week, helping me stay accountable, stick to the routine, and motivating me to keep putting value out there.

Thank you so much for that.

What's keeping YOU busy these days and can I help with that?
Kim
