Hold That Thought

Lens not label

“It's a lens to look through, not a label to be worn”

— Nathan Whitbread ACC

This week I've been thinking about our unique brains and how they relate to things like labels, senses, and that next task. Here are three things on that theme to help turn overthinking into expert thinking:

  1. The quote above comes from a recent podcast episode about neurodiversity and coaching, hosted by Claire Pedrick MCC and featuring Nathan and myself. This special episode also kicks off our upcoming book collaboration! You can also watch it on YouTube
  2. Worth sharing again: the 8 senses of the body from psychologist Dr. Neff
  3. Overwhelmed? Underwhelmed? Simply whelmed? Do literally anything. Or, for a bit of unthinking: Do nothing for two minutes

Extra thoughts…

We can't write this book about neurodiversity and coaching without you! If you have something to share or want to follow along, please get in touch or join our newsletters

More exciting updates as things develop, but in the meantime, I'd love to hear what you think of the podcast episode — which bit landed? Which questions would you like to see explored further?
