Hold That Thought

Fall back

…to basics.

This week I've been thinking about how to do the basic stuff. Specifically, helpful things we might have missed. Here are three things on that theme to turn overthinking into expert thinking:

  1. How to write a task – a short one by me
  2. How to be concise – a longer one by Wes Kao
  3. How to manage your time – a great list of tips by Lenny Rachitsky

Extra thoughts…

This week's links are super practical. Except I suppose for this unthinking one: the size of space

I swear by nearly all of the items in Lenny's list above, except I rewrite number six to be “No meetings after [as early as possible]”. In other words, my suggestion for any of this is to take the spirit of these ideas and make them work for you.

What will you try?

Kim

PS. Starting next week, this newsletter will be coming from a new address! Please add insight@witten.kim to your contacts or safe senders. This change is because my work has been expanding well beyond my transformational coaching, and I want all my messaging to reflect that, down to the last detail. Because no matter which ways we might work together, it's always about gaining the insight you need to clarify your thinking and step into action. If you're ready to do that now, please get in touch with me at insight@witten.kim or book a free call

If you know somebody who might get value from this newsletter, why not share with them? Forward this email to help them gain more clarity and confidence about what they're doing, too:

You can always visit the newsletter archive for all the worksheets and other free tools. Or browse podcast episodes and read the latest long-form insights. I even have a page where you can access every Medium article I've written, paywall-free

Hope you enjoy this as much as I do creating and sharing it!
