Hold That Thought

Another Place

Every Thursday I share three useful things to help you turn overthinking into expert thinking. Here are this week’s picks:

  1. I'm returning to writing again and so here's my most recent article on how to stop thinking terrible things about yourself
  2. Why you over-explain things by Justin Bariso on LinkedIn
  3. Speaking of explanations, I've been using Simple Wikipedia a lot lately. It's a great way to see what just enough info can look like. I've used it to help myself and others understand seemingly complex ideas, from sociolinguistics to intersectionality and more. How well does it do for a term in your world?

Additional thoughts…

Today's email is shorter as I'm moving house this weekend. I'm also taking next week off to settle in and enjoy the new surroundings

As with any move, you start assessing what's worth taking along with you to the new space. And I'm on a life-long quest of simplifying things. Doing less; having that mean more

I'll be back in August to share more about what that looks like.

What's been useful in this email? I'd love to hear.
Kim
